Google Business Profile
The listing that decides local search.
Formerly Google My Business, set up and kept up to date so you show up on the map for people nearby who are already searching. It's the cheapest asset in local marketing, and the most neglected.
Listing updated every week
- 01 Name and category
The right category decides which searches you show up in. It's the field most people get wrong.
- 02 Address and service area
Confirmed address, or a service radius if you go to the customer.
- 03 Hours
Holidays included. A profile showing open when you're closed hurts your ranking.
- 04 Photos
Storefront, team, work. Posted regularly, not just once.
- 05 Products and services
Each one with a name, description and price range.
- 06 Questions and answers
The questions you get on the phone, answered before they're asked.
- 07 Reviews
Requested at the right moment and answered, every one. Bad ones included.
- 08 Posts
News, offers and events, right on the profile.
Eight fields, reviewed every month. None of them is a matter of opinion: either it's filled in and checked, or it isn't.
What it's costing you today.
You don't show up on the map
Local search highlights three results. If you're not there, to the customer near you, you don't exist.
Wrong information
Outdated hours, an old address, a phone nobody answers. The customer comes to your door, finds it closed and doesn't come back.
Reviews with no reply
A negative review with no reply becomes the official version of the story. Whoever reads it later only sees one side.
Your competitor takes care of theirs
Complete listing, recent photos, reviews answered. They're not better than you, just easier to find.
What's included.
Scope in writing before we start. Anything not listed here gets agreed separately. It won't show up as a surprise on the invoice.
- 01Profile created or claimed, and verified
- 02Categories, services and attributes chosen by search intent
- 03Correct service area and hours, holidays included
- 04Photos and videos posted consistently

What we'll need from you.
Each step says how much of your time it takes. That's usually what holds things up, not our side.
- 1 Google verification
Claiming
Taking ownership of the listing. Many businesses find out here that the profile is in the name of a former employee or another agency.
- Listing 100% complete
Setup
Primary category, secondary categories, services, service area, hours. This is the step that moves rankings the most.
- Weekly routine
Upkeep
Posts, photos and review replies, every week. An idle profile loses ground to an active one.
- 1 monthly report
Reporting
How many people saw it, how many asked for directions, how many called. A report on the real contacts the listing generated.

Who it's for.
Three situations where this service is the right answer. And one where it isn't.
Businesses with an address
Store, clinic, office, repair shop. Anyone with a door on the street who wants to show up on the map for people nearby.
Businesses serving an area
Service providers who go to the customer. You can list a service area instead of a visible address.
Businesses with stalled reviews
A listing with a photo from three years ago and reviews with no reply. It's the first impression for anyone searching, and nobody is looking after it.
Not forBusinesses that sell nationwide with no local operation. The profile helps little, and in that case the money goes further on ads or content.

Questions about this service.
What is Google Business Profile? Is it the same as Google My Business?
It's the same. Google renamed Google My Business to Google Business Profile, but the listing is the same: the one that appears on the right side of search results and on Google Maps, with name, address, hours, photos and reviews. It's free, it's Google's, and it decides who shows up in the top three local search results.
Do I need a physical address?
Not necessarily. If you serve customers at their location, you can list a service area instead of a visible address. It changes the setup, not whether it's possible.
Can a bad review be removed?
Only if it violates Google's rules, and in that case we request removal. Otherwise, no. What works is replying well: whoever reads it later judges the reply as much as the complaint.
How long until I move up in local search?
Getting the setup right usually moves your ranking before the weekly upkeep kicks in. But local search also depends on distance and relevance, which can't be bought, only built.
I already have a profile, it's just idle. Does that work?
Yes, and it's usually the easiest case. An existing profile with history is worth more than a new one. We claim it, fix it and start the routine.
